BOARD MEMBER | Aaron Gibson
Regional Manager of Community Lending, United Purpose Mortgage
Aaron Gibson is the new regional manager of community lending at United Purpose Mortgage (UPM). In this role, Aaron focuses on community lending efforts for UPM and its affiliated mortgage companies across Pennsylvania. Aaron was born and raised in Pittsburgh’s Homewood Brushton neighborhood, and he has more than seven years of experience in the mortgage and real estate industries. He attended Geneva College, where he studied quantitative analysis and marketing.
Prior to joining UPM, Aaron held roles at Keller Williams Realty, Inc. and Reliance First Capital, and he most recently served as the digital sales manager at Red Tree Mortgage. At United Purpose Mortgage, Aaron is responsible for building relationships within majority-minority communities, where he promotes UPM programs and helps grow our educational offerings. He works closely with local community leaders and develops workshops dedicated to closing the wealth gap and increasing homeownership.
Outside work, Aaron has regularly served as a mentor to youth in the community, working with Voices Against Violence to support and counsel young men at the Beltzhoover Community Center.
